Invitation to Write
Blog Writing Opportunity
The Collaborative is a ministry that provides discipleship resources for Christ-centered professionals in the public square. We are inviting seminary students to produce a blog article of approximately 3,000 words for publication and digital distribution. Articles must be in English, and students must have already completed at least 20 credit hours of seminary education.
The audience for the blogs are educated Christian professionals, but not academicians. Therefore content should be substantive with an eye towards application in the workplace, home, neighborhood, and other realms of the public square (politics, education, medicine, engineering, etc).
Topics could include:
- Application of a theological doctrine, Scripture, or historic event to a Christian leader's daily life, workplace, political moment, or current event
- Insights to an industry or cultural artifact through the lense of a student, future ministry leader, or Reformed theology
- Advice and direction for Christian leaders to live our their faith in the various spheres of the public square (the home, government, marketplace, arts, religious institutions, healthcare, education, etc)
- Analysis of a social movement or cultural practice (both existing and emerging) from a Reformed perspective
Published pieces will earn the writer a $250 stipend, proper attribution, website posting, and placed before an extensive audience of subscribers and followers on social media.
